Coffee Recipe: Coffee Chai Au Lait

Sometimes we need a hug in a mug 💚 For times we need comfort, this Chai Coffee Au Lait warms the heart – made with @seesawcoffee yunnan coffee, white tea (you can also use black tea!), frothed oat milk, topped with cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger snap cookie crumbs 💞

Chai Coffee Au Lait Recipe


  • Single Serve Pour Over 
  • 2 tbsp tea (black tea preferred, but I used white tea in this recipe, and it turned out delicious!)
  • ~4 oz Oat milk
  • 0.5 – 1 oz of Brown Sugar Syrup
  • Nutmeg
  • Cinnamon
  • Ginger Snap Cookie Crumbles
  1. Brew tea
    1. Pour 3 oz 176 F water over tea
    2. Wait 1:30 minutes for white tea or 3:30 minutes for black tea
  2. Brew coffee
    1. Pour ~3-4 oz 199 F water 
    2. Wait until it finishes dripping
  3. Pour tea and coffee together
  4. Froth oat milk
  5. Pour oat milk into coffee/tea mixture
  6. Top with brown sugar syrup, nutmeg, cinnamon, and ginger snap cookie crumbles
  7. Enjoy!
